Which depot layout is better, and why?

Which depot layout is better, and why? In your opinion.
The first example:
Features the entrances adjacent to the passage between roundabouts, and has two exits.
Good in term of amount of exits the trains have, but bad in terms of blocking the runway between the two roundabouts.

The second example:
Features two entrances but one of the entrances blocks the exit, while another entrance doesn't cover all the depot stops.
Also features a safe exit in case a train will try to occupy one of the depot spots if there are already all of them being occupied.
