Should LTN use [item=iron-plate] in messages?

LTN sends a message when it schedules some delivery saying how many e.g. iron plates it will transport. I wonder how many people would prefer to see an iron plate icon instead of the text 'iron plate'?

I would prefer seeing both, the icon, and the name of the item besides each other.
Like first goes the icon, followed by the name.

Are Notification messages even used at this point?
Notification messages are there to help players set up LTN and check what LTN is doing. Using LTNT they became mostly obsolete.
Even before LTNT many experienced players turned message level down to Error & Warning. Notification is way too chatty, especially on larger maps.

I have to agree with Optera here, I only let notifications on for the first half hour or so of setting up LTN, or when debugging a specific issue, it does not have to be pretty, just functional.

This would be cosmetic at best, a shiny way to display what LTN is doing, and not worth the time to implement
And quickly turned off, as described above.
Delivery messages get waaaaay too spammy once the base is running.
