Depot station choosing problem.

Incorrect depot station choosing.
Before when we need train to the provider station, LTN choosed nearest depot station with the same network ID.
Now i see something wrong some of factory parts, not only on this smelters.
For example couple fresh steel smelters. №3 and №4.
They are copy of another one, only stations with another names. Both with 256 ID on ore requesters.
I have 2 ore extractors that provide ore for both stations. They have depot names "depot mine 3-1" "depot mine 3-2" "depot mine 4-1" "depot mine 4-2". All depots and nearest stations are copy of each one.
On screen you can see them.

Main problem: "depot mine 3-1" and stations Philip James and Diabolical Demons, when we have enough ore both this station choose train don't from depot mine 3-1, they take trains from 3 other depots with this ID.
Not all time. Somethimes they take trains from 3-1 depot. I don't know why and when.
Some screens below.

i think thats your problem, they all have the same ID? I´m not sure I understood that correctly.
If thats the case, its not guaranteed they take from the next (as the crow flies) depot.
There could be alot of reasons why a train would be busy at a depot, most likely its refilling fuel, therefor not "inactive"
If there is another Depot with the same ID, its allowed to send a train.
You´d really need to seperate your IDs if its a problem for you
Save file would be helpful, since anyone willing to help would need to see ALL your station stettings

I belive that Optera understand problem. If he/she ask, i will send it directly.
I know that looking on big bases will easy ruin interest to the game. I can discuss and share any ideas, that i'm using. Also i can give you reccomendations, but i want to share blueprints and saves.
Just ask.

I'm currently on a break from Factorio. If someone else offers to look at your problem I suggest you take that offer.
As far as my own saves go, LTN picks the closest best matching train from depots.
If it really is a bug in LTN itself that no one else managed to find so far I'll try and fix it, but I guess it's a configuration error.
Like I said sloppy configuration, you have some depots without network ID, for example a 'James Roshal' in the middle of 'depot stock 2'.
Installing LTN Tracker can make it easier to spot configuration errors.

I can sympathize. Let's make sure I understand your problem correctly:
- You have a provider and a nearby depot. LTN usually uses train from that depot for pick-ups from the provider.
- Sometimes trains are scheduled from another, far away depot.
- In that case the nearby depot still has available trains of the right length, but they are not used.
Now, if you want help without providing the savegame you will need to provide a full log file and some additional information:
- Load up your game, open the mod settings menu and enable debug logging for LTN.
- Play your game until a train is scheduled from a far-away depot.
- When that happens, pause your game.
- Find and upload your factorio-current.log
- Finally, tell me the names of:
- the provider station
- the requester station
- the depot from which the train is coming
- the depot from which the train should be dispatched instead
With that information I should be able to tell you why LTN picked the train it did.

Butterfly - provider
Requester - icemaking
train come from "depot stock 10"
train must come from "depot stock 4"

By the time you loaded your save and enabled debug log, that delivery was already scheduled. The log does therefore not include information on why LTN chose that train. Logging has to be enabled before LTN dispatches the train.
The only thing I can say is that all of the four stations are part of network 1. "Depot stock 4" has available trains by the time the log starts, but it is impossible to tell if those trains were avaialble when the delivery started or - if they were - why the were not used for the delivery.

LTN thinks it is pulling in the closest train. Distance for a given station pair is only calculated once and cached. Did you at any point teleport or move stops? Or create them in an unusual way? Because the cached results are wrong and I can't think of another way that would happen.

thats not only this stations. That on whole base.
Only 1 thing i changed. I set Creative mod that i'm used for speed drones and electricric production. I'm even don't know how to move stations or teleport them.
How to clear LTN cache?

The only way would be for you to deconstruct and rebuild affected stations. Considering the number of stations involved, I would wait for the next LTN update which should fix the issue.
