[0.17.23] Big Electric Poles Mysteriously Appear on Map

In a certain scenario, electric poles seem to lay themselves down on the map in a straight line.

  1. I was exploring my map laying down big electric poles and radars.
  2. I walked from point A to point B, laying down poles and radars.
  3. Then I followed my electric line back to point A without laying down anything new. Then I started moving to point C laying down electric poles and radars.
  4. When I got to point C, I opened my map. To my surprise, I realized there was a giant diagonal line of big electric poles from point B to point A. I did not lay down those poles. They also do not have any electric lines connecting them (they're just bare poles).
  5. I might have had my electric poles in hand the whole way when I was walking from point B to point A, I don't recall for sure. I also don't know if the game took those out of my inventory. I suspect it did, because I seemed suddenly very low on big electric poles compared to what I remembered.

Almost certainly related to 68725 (fixed for 0.17.24)

Sounds likely related. They appeared after I started placing new poles.

The main difference is that I didn't deconstruct the original poles.

Deconstruction is entirely unrelated to the underlying bug.
