1. Drag place Power poles
2. Deconstruct them
3. Repeat: drag place Power poles
Power poles reappear from nowhere, no item duplication.

Just noticed same bug - place and drag a few power poles. Pick up all but the first, then drag new power poles from the remaining one - new power poles just appear where the initial ones were deconstructed.
When I did the same for large power poles I got a CTD - log file attached. (EDIT: This might be addressed in 0.17.23 - I've not updated yet)

I ran into something similar where I placed a few belt ghosts and then I went to place a power pole a short distance away it placed a line of power poles from the last ghost belt entity, overwriting it, to near my character. I'm pretty sure I didn't have poles in my hand while running away, so I think it placed the poles when I selected the poles from the quickbar.
Also see the video below for something related when trying to place poles out of reach.

Thanks for the reports and videos and all. Thanks to it I was able to recreate it and eventually fix. It is basically the same issue I had back in the day when I was doing similar things for belts (to avoid gaps when run-building them when moving fast).

Really, in current version? I can't reproduce it in anyway. So how can I get it?
