You know how if you click on a power pole you can see consumption by device type?... Is there a way to get a similar graph for pollution?

If not in game, perhaps through a mod?

Go to the production statistics and check the newly added pollution tab ( 0.17.12+).

Spoiler: biggest polluter by far is mining drills.

Oh, duuuh... until you mentioned it, I didn't even think of looking at the top right for possible stuff. I haven't looked at those buttons in so long I forgot they existed

Yeah, that is a very cool tab.

Before busses and rail I use an early base that is 3x3 chunk to "smelt, make almost everything, bots and science", belt fed by the 4 ores, water and oil.

Curiously, at that stage the miners (electric) aren't the biggest polluters. The top polluters rotate between Boilers, Steel Furnaces and the Electric Miners. Must setup nuclear and electric smelting!!!

Right after making an ammo depot to clear some nests. They are too close for comfort
