Since the new UI in 0.17, I have noticed the preset for the Rail World changes the value for Enemy bases Size to 50% instead of 100%. This causes the following achievements to be disabled (as far as I can tell): Steam all the way, Raining bullets, No time for chitchat, There is no spoon.

Changing the value back to 100% re-enables the achievements. Game-provided presets should probably not cause achievement-disabling settings, at least not without warning the player beforehand.

This issue was not present in 0.16 whereas the Rail World preset did not modify the enemy bases settings, aside from disabling expansion.

Not quite the same. In 0.16 those achievements were not disabled and the enemy base size was not modified, but in 0.17 it is.
