Reproduce:
Open new game menu. Change some slider and go back to main menu. Open new game menu again, and the slider was reverted back.

Expected slider to keep changed position even if i quit the whole game and try to start new game.

Well, hitting back is akin to cancelling the whole thing, I don't think its a bug

Yeah it could be cancelling the whole thing. If i want to reset to defaults there's a button for that. Otherwise there is never a case where i wouldn't want to have exactly same settings i used last time. Even if i quit game inbetween. Current behavior is unintuitive.

Currently you also count the "change mod settings" as cancelling the whole thing, because it restarts Factorio... And that is also wrong.
