I have autosave interval set to "Never" but my game is being auto-saved every 101 minutes - I have two autosaves of my current test map with play times of 01:41 :00 and 03:22:00

When I click "Never" in the save settings I see the textbox value is 101, when I drag the slider around and back to "Never" and click again the textbox value is now 100. I assume 101 has carried over from a previous version of Factorio.

I haven't yet tested setting the value to the new "Never" (100) and seeing if that stops the saving.

It used to be bugged, but was fixed, however changing the value might have been needed to be properly set to never.
Can you open config.ini in Factorio write folder, and see if autosave-interval is set to 0 there?

%APPDATA%\Factorio\config\config.ini shows autosave-interval=101

There was a bug that setting Never would save as 101, but that was fixed around 0.17.3; I can't reproduce this bug anymore in 0.17.14
I am not sure why it didn't reset to 0 when you set it to something else and then set it to Never again. - Have you maybe closed the option screen by Escape?

Twinsen and I agreed that we want keep it possible to edit config.ini to set autosave longer intervals longer than 99 minutes (even though it's not quite compatible with options GUI), so we don't want to disallow config values larger than 99. People who have bugged config from early 0.17 will have to set it again.
