It seems that due to new combat system this achievement become impossible to get.

I tried run into high tier alien base with Behemoth Worms there equipped with 12 Energy shield MK2 and 6 fully charged Personal battery MK2 and reached only 230/500 damage mark before dying.

Try taking a train to the face

I've also read on the forums that this achievement is possible to attain by trying to "catch" a round of artillery. ...ehm, to the face.

However, I think this latter option will likely lead to; achievement, and swift death. Given it's damage is handled in multiple events due to different damage types. Happy hunting?

Now that is some kind of advise which really needs its context.

Though I have to admit this is the one thing I zealously obey: DO NOT STEP ON THE BLOODY TRACKS!
- reckless driving (into something, sooner or later): Hell, yeah!
- take on biters mano a mano (too many, sooner or later): Hell, yeah!
- rocket launcher incidents (with and without nukes): Hell, yeah!
But I stay of the goddamn tracks. Subconcious.

LOL. Did you really think that this achievement is about biters?) It requires creativity! I accidentally got it in Hancock's style very long time ago.
