Just yesterday, My login credentials still worked, and so did those of 2 of my friends.

But today, around roughly 8:00pm CET, my account had disappeared, AND SO DID THOSE OF THE SAME 2 FRIENDS!

This is a new account with the same login data.

Which should not be possible, since it should have blocked my e-mail for being used already.

Any word on what happened?
Any knowledge of what happened?

I have searched, and I have no evidence another account with the same user ID ever existed before. So I have no clue to explain what you're reporting, sorry.

My everyday job teaches me that when there is no technical explanation, most of the time, the problem exists between the chair and keyboard. Is there the slightest chance you could be mistaken (in having created a forum account, with the exact same login and email) ?

May I suggest source for confusion ?

There's two different accounts which seem to not be linked: one for factorio.com and for the forums.factorio.com. At least it got *me* quite confused.
