Hi!

I don't want to necro old threads, and I do not want to dwell, if the idea turns on the light, turns it on in a few words, so it's useless to talk about it so much.
The idea is as follows: allow the wagons to be left at the loading stations and use the tractor elsewhere. All automatically.

The following mod allows for coupling and decoupling of individual train wagons:

This mod seems to have been updated for version 0.16 (but not 0.17), as I have pointed out at the end of that thread.

Also, this thread of mine describes my suggestion of trains being able to drive backwards, which would be necessary for shunting operations.
