Delete Achievements in game options?

Hi,
so i found in 0.17 in the options the button to delete the achievements. Did they start new to count while i playing or are they gone forever?

Gone forever, including steam achievements. You can start fresh to unlock them all again. Did that for 0.17 and am really enjoying it.

You mean with "fresh" a new world / game? Or can i load my old world and achievements start from beginning?

Loading your old world might trigger the achievements right away. It's what people did to unlock the toolbar: load an old save with construction.

I think different achievements work differently here, depending on whether they are triggered by an event happening (like launching a rocket) or by a number having reached a certain level (like making green circuits). If you load an old save where you already met the criteria then any of the latter type of achievement will complete itself immediately, but the former type won't. I'm not certain which achievements are which type, though.
