Hi,

I am eager to try this game and was about to purchase access but decided to check the demo to make sure it runs.

Unfortunately, when I start the game it immediately crashes and closes. As I couldn't find any similar posts I imagine I have done something stupid. Security settings all seem to be fine to allow the game to run.

Does anyone have any advice?

I have realised that this might be an issue with OS X 10.10 as I notice Yosemite is not included in the support OSs.

Is this likely to be the issue?

For Yosemite, uninstall the version you have.
Head on over to the experimental branch

Am I missing something? When I got that page it doesn't have any downloads, just a message about it being experimental?

Edit: Just found that it is a known issue (https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=3636). Hopefully there will be a working version soon, very excited to play this.

Yes, there is no demo for version 0.11 yet.

No problem, I have decided to take the plunge anyway. So I found I have access to the experimental versions now.
