Using Steam in Linux, the update to [0.17.6] did not fix the problem. Prior to updating, I removed the game files (not the config file, saves, blueprints etc.) entirely, then re-downloaded the game. I can start a new game, but clicking load game result in crash.

Edit: My latest save is Diggy scenario, ill quarantain all of the non pure vanilla saves now.

Can you please upload the latest save file in your saves folder? It's crashing because the preview image in the save is 0x0 pixels.

Ok, removing all non scenario-modded saves (diggy, comfy) solved the problem.
