Biggest problem with the non-tutorial is...

... a new user must find it first.
And thats not an easy task as one has:
1.) to know that such a beast exists in first place
2.) find it buried in the initial setups
instead:
there should / must be a splash screen for a newbie announcing:
"Her you are invited tu jump right into ice-cold water to find out what's it about Factorio...!"
or something similar leading right to the "appetiser"
