Crafting shortcuts

Hello there,

wouldn't it be nice, if you could craft items without opening the gui? If you know, you'll craft more fast inserters in the next time, it would be nice to just press a key, and they were added to the crafting queue. I imagine something like in Diablo II, where you just hover over the desired skill and press F1 for example. Then this skill will be binded to F1 and every time you press it, the skill is fired (as long as they are not on cooldown, but thats another story :D). Transferred to Factorio you would just open the gui, hover over e.g. Electric Circuits and press F1. Every time you press F1, when not hovering over another item in the gui, you will craft 1 electric circuit. Maybe you could add the "bulk crafting", by pressing shift + F1 or something like that.
What do you think?

Greetings,
Schorty

so instead of clicking with the mouse you click a key on the keyboard? But what's the point if you are already hovering the mouse over the item you want to craft O_o

This is the way you bind the key to an item. Afterwards you can craft the item without opening the gui by pressing the key.

I like this idea, it would be nice to be able to set up conveyors or pipes to a key and just mash it when I need those items. Reminds me of the hotkeying systems in fallout and skyrim.
