Make players more easily visible in multiplayer

Players are the same saturation and brightness as the rest of the machinery in the game, so they're fairly hard to make out from the rest of the objects in a complicated system. It would be nice to be able to see other players better so you don't lose track of your friends.
One simple addition that would be quite easy to implement (I assume) would be to add a name over player's heads in info mode (ALT key I think). Perhaps the functionality could be toggled in the options so that if people feel it obstructs their view they can disable it.
A more complicated change would be to revamp the palette of players in multiplayer. My simple suggestion for this is to raise the contrast of the colors on the player so that they stand out from the grey of the machinery. Simply brightening the player's outfit would probably do the job, or making their player color more saturated or bright.
Another perhaps more complicated idea is to add a light outline to other players while in multiplayer mode. a low opacity white outline would make the player's silhouette a higher contrast area and would make them very visible.
Any combination of these or other ideas would be just fine, I'm constantly losing my friends in the jumble of machines we build, and it would be very nice in the future to be able to pick them out from all of the machinery.
