0.17 - Scenario teams (max players pr team)

Hello,
I am setting up a pvp game with the 0.17 version and wondering how you set how many players can join induvidual teams. My goal is to set up a couple of teams where only 1 person can join and some where more than one can join. (don't ask, I have weird friends..)
Also, what is the purpose of the team number? The option under the team name that has numers, "-" and "?" available as options.
