I'm playing on a laptop with a trackpad, and so I don't have access to a middle mouse button to reassign slots in my quickbar. Going through the control settings, there doesn't seem to be any option to change the binding. Fortunately I noticed before rendering the quickbar unusable, but this could become a major problem over time through accidental misclicks. Feels worthy of being called a bug.

+1 This is really annoying on a laptop like you said. And I spent a few minutes trying every possible key on my keyboard without success, because I had no clue how to do it.

Have you looked in Settings -> Controls -> Inventory section: Toggle filter ?

That won't work with a MacBook Pro trackpad - a Mac trackpad "secondary click" usually replace / mimics the usual "middle mouse click" on the trackpad without problem, but that "secondary click" is not recognised e.g. cannot be set though Factories settings thought.
This has to be mended ASAP together with the missing keybindings.

Then change the control setting for the filter. Make another report if some keybinding doesnt work for any controls, this one is about setting the filter keybind at all.

you cannot change the control setting for the filter - Factorio donut recognises the input from the trackpad.
Dropping items to the ground work just fine but you cannot take any item from the ground anymore with a key e.g. - many other keybindings are also ko.

Wasn't expecting it to be called "toggle filter"-- I suppose I was expecting something that included the word 'quickbar' in it, but that's on me! Thanks.
