The executable's file icon (the cog) seems to be missing in 0.3.0.
I'm using "MS Windows (64 bit exe installer)".

ah, I didn't realize other people had this issue as well lol. I simply fixed it by redirecting windows to the new ico location (right click shortcut/program -> properties -> change icon->%ProgramFiles%\Factorio\data\core\graphics\factorio.ico)
An error will probably pop up when you first click change icon, it is just telling you it doesn't know where the old one is, just click ok and then tell it the new location.

This havent been fixed yet I think... at least it doesnt work for 0.5+

The installer now adds corect icon path for StartMenu shortcut but the game executable itself still doesn't contain icon in itself.

The zip package doesnt.

That is becouse ZIP package is intendet to be also used from thumb drives so it is up to you for creating necessary shortucts.
Now you can find factorio icon in Factorio\Data\Core\Gprahics\Factorio.ico

@Developers
You might consider athleast moving factiorio.ico to the same folder which contains game executable so pepole can find it more easily.
