A failed attempt at the Introduction scenario

Got overwhelmed by biters.
This isn't me asking for help on how not to lose the game, I'm good thank you. This scenario however destroyed me like the wave defense one.

It's doable, took me two hours.
Don't try to research more than the first turret upgrade, you need to get to green science quick since the biters will be spawning faster and faster.
BTW, where did the finish pop ask to send the screens?

ROFL. I'm guessing it isn't supposed to take two hours. Although it makes it tempting to give it a try...

I had 4 assemblers making ammo and still got overwhelmed right after I finished it because one wall completely ran out
You don't have to rush anything, but you shouldn't take too much time either

2 hours is a reasonable time. Internal Wube fastest is 1:20
It is designed so that everyone gets overrun just as they finish the level.
Please send the screens to my email

Thanks again for playing

i haven´t tried it yet. is there a message that says its designed that way?
I have no problem with such a design, but it could scare away new players.

Mine took just over four.

I find it odd that people are saying to do it faster, or that the people finishing it in two hours are taking too long and that's why they're having a problem. I am
slow. I approach things very methodically and cautiously. And while I did have a last-minute issue in my first playthrough, I reloaded the earlier save - just a couple minutes before - and finished handily by prioritising the turrets that ran out of ammo the first time.
The end screen also specifically calls out wave defense as having similar combat, so I suspect this isn't representative of freeplay.
Still, as others have said... just look at all those corpses
