What is exactly the difference between Kills and Losses in the kill tap?
I assumed that the different is: killed by player and killed by biters but I think there is a still a overlap as killcount player is the same on both and I think I killed myself more than by biters...

Losses: what you lost, by anything. Biters PLUS yourself, by car/tank/guns. You could kill chests filled with excess materials etc
And ofc PvP oppononents

Kills: what you or your entities killed. If you are killed by your own train, you killed yourself.

Without biters or PvP the lists should match

except for trees and rocks, which are still not your entities, you would have killed, but still not lost them
