Evolve is a great medium for easily connecting with other players worldwide.
With a built in forum, and the ability to see and chat with other online Factorio players, the chances of finding players for multiplayer is high!

Got on there and played last night for 45 minutes with Azure. Hoping to carve out a bigger chunk of time in the future.
The biggest problem I see is the possibility of continuing to start new games with different people instead of getting to play one game out with someone. At some point we have to get past the start!

You don't have a play a map with the same person every time.

Not having to is different from not doing it.
Sure, I could let you onto my SP map even, but NO. MINE.
I assume there's also some sort of artificial love for maps with such and such a person. That's OUR map. No outsiders.

I have a lot of saved maps - some still single player but most had visitors or are colaborations.
I really like to play multiplayer - It has taken all my "game-time" and more

That's a bit impressive!
I plan to try MP with you sometime, and/or Fish. Could be exciting. Could be dreary and laggy. We'll find out!
