Simplified Research display

Instead of showing (10 second/1 green science/1 red science * 100), it should just show (1000 second/100 green science/100 red science)
Its a minor thing, but given you have things where every science uses 2 packs per cycle, and you might mentally simplify it anyway, I don't see why it has to be like this anymore.

Alternatively, show (1000 second/ 0.1 green science / 0.1 red science) in which it shows the rate of consumption and total duration, but that is probably less friendly.

I do not like it.
I do not like several packs per cycle either. And cannot remember it.
I prefer to see rate.

I think it's like this because it re-uses recipe code, with time being treated as just another ingredient ?

Time would be akin to crafting duration?

The strange thing is research does use partial potions, and I don't believe normal crafting allows for anything like that.

It is largely legacy I imagine. Back before continuous research, each of those were basically a recipe, after which one complete research tick occured. It was split up so you could run a ton of research labs at once, but has issues with overkill and canceling.
