Picture scaling?
Why are these two pictures scaled differently? They are both of the same spreadsheet at the same zoom and the screen resolution did not change between captures.

Re: Picture scaling?
The letters/numbers should be the same size. On two different devices that I’be viewed this post the top picture is larger.

Re: Picture scaling?
So it's a problem with this forum and not the wiki. Moving post to "This Forum".

Re: Picture scaling?
Pictures too wide are rescaled to fit screen width - or a maximum width depending on your forum settings.
So it's not the top image that's larger, it's the bottom one that's resized to fit screen.

But the top one is larger than the original spreadsheet!

Re: Picture scaling?
The bottom is wider. So bottom is scaled down. Top is narrow enough to fit the width of the screen so it's displayed full size and appears bigger.

It's displaying at the resolution it was taken at.

Re: Picture scaling?
You have a high-ish screen res (at least WQHD). The higher the screen res, the wider a picture will be displayed without resizing.

Re: Picture scaling?
The second picture info shows for me :
(I have 1920 columns - a FullHD wide screen, I use 150% browser zoom by default.)
Code: Select all
1,624px × 870px (scaled to 966px × 518px)

Re: Picture scaling?
If you use the default board style, the forum is limited to 1352 pixels width and all images are scaled to fit.
For unlimited width, go to user control panel and pick a wide board style.
