[0.16.51] Desync on entering server map (no mods)

I played yesterday on a server. Vanilla, 0.16.51, no mods. No mods on my installation either (I have one mod that is disabled, otherwise I couldn't join).
It went fine!

Trying to connect today, it puts me in the server and I spawn and I'm there for half a second and then the desync happens.

Thanks for the report. Can you have the server owner try to run /c game.forces.enemy.kill_all_units() and see if that fixes the desync?

If so, then it's fixed for 0.17. If not, I'll keep looking into it.

Hey - I don't really have that influence on the server owners.

What happened is I managed to contact them on Discord and asked why it was happening.
Reply:
"weird, should be ok now I have restarted the server"

And as mentioned, a server restart seemed to have fixed it, I could play after that.
Hope it's any form of helpful.
