linux
command line to run?

sudo ./bin/x64/factorio --start-server saves/HarAnWGeor.zip --server-settings ./data/server-settings.json --mod-directory ~/.factorio/mods

what might be wrong?

what's the correct path? is it
--mod-directory mods
--mod-directory ./mods
--mod directory /mods

there something wrong... help with this. thanks.

You dont need to specify the --mod-directory directive if you did not changed the location of your mods. Can you post the output of your server log? usally the factorio-server is creating checksums for all installed mods while starting
