Quite frequently, I find myself read the wrong information from the information panel.

For example, the heat exchanger has no less than three "Temperature" fields (see below).

I would suggest the following tweaks:
* subordinate the ingredient-specific attributes under their ingredient
* clearly mark and separate the unit's fields from those of the inputs & outputs

Seems a logical reorganization of that information.

as far as that window is concerned, it's just listing the entity's stats and then those of it's fluid boxes. Adding a line break shouldn't be much of an issue, but adding "input" and "output" into the break would require a fair bit of customisation to the entities. (type per type basis)

It does sound like a reasonable request to me though.
