Is there already a mod which lets you cancel research?

I have been wanting a mod that lets you cancel research so I threw a mod together that introduces an infinite tech that completes near instantly and requires no resources. By switching research to this tech, it lets you effectively cancel your current research. Is there already a mod that satisfies this task and should I release the mod to the mod portal?
