Hi!

I'm currently unable to run the game on my linux laptop. Download and extraction works fine, it's just that when I try and run the executable nothing happens.

I have checked the bit-type (32-bit) and downloaded the correct one.

"nothing happens" could very well mean that your computer is not turned on

Try running it from console and post the output.

i'm using linux mint 32bit (ubuntu based)... i downloaded, unpacked, don't understood howto install, watched in folders, found executable file. run it...and game just works... no installation...
I just run \factorio\bin\i386\factorio
