Hi
I bought a new pc system, and now my complete blueprint gallery is missing.
Where the hell is this safed in?
Safegames and Mods are clearly marked, but the own gallery?
I played allready about 1400 hours and have uncounted blueprints there, they all to put in an special safe game to transfer would take hours over hours

The file is called "blueprint-storage.dat". If it's on you main drive C: you can find it by using something like:
Win+R
Code: Select all
cmd /c cd /d C:\ & for /f "tokens=*" %p in ('dir /s/b blueprint-storage.dat') do explorer "%~dpp"
which will open an explorer window for the folder the file is currently in.
Edit: Eh, someone else was faster :p. I'll leave it for less savvy people.

It is a design flaw. While the steam cloud backup saves everything else so that you can transfer it easily to your new PC, the blueprint library fails to be backed up.
You have two options when going to another PC:
- Copy the file manually as suggested above,.
- Copy your blueprint books into a game, do the steam cloud sync, then copy back from the game to the library.

Nice find Zavian. That will be a good improvement when they implement it.
