TL;DR

Go into a low power usage mode when the game is paused in single player.

What ?

It would be nice if the application stops updating the graphics when the game is paused in single player mode, and the application loses focus. Or possibly, only update the screen on an input event while the game is paused.

Why ?

That way I can leave the application running in the background while doing other productivity stuff without roasting my computer. Useful since the application takes a while to boot with mods.

This suggestion has been implemented as a game setting: Minimise on focus loss.
