It would be awesome if there is a new tier of biters that can wage 'cyber' war against the player.

These biters would have specialized long range abilities that could disrupt the various networks in play. One idea would be biters with EMP capabilities that would force the player to search and destroy them to restore functionality.

Well how about a virus which sends random signals to your circuits.
Want to see the LTN bases handle this

Biters wouldn't have the time to evolve that much in so few generations.
