I have 160 accumulators set up to try to avoid dirty power and make sure I have energy for attacks if they happen (currently the haven't been). They are currently being powered by 100 or so solar panels (I'm working on expanding that).

During the night, when the accumulators are powering my base, occasionally, about halfway through the night (I'd guess around 1am) the accumulators suddenly dump ALL of their charge, leaving my base barely powered and struggling to keep moving.

I haven't seen anything to indicate this is something that is supposed to happen, if it is I would love to know how to solve this problem within the game, but I suspect this is simply a glitch. How I've managed to get it to happen... not sure. For a while I thought it was related to loading a save (like loading a save cleared some cache of how much the accumulators had stored up), but that doesn't seem to be a consistent cause.

I am using version 0.10.12 Build 10773, Mac

I am on an iMac running OSX 10.9.5 mavericks and I also run this game on a windows machine running Windows 7. the saves sync via dropbox, and the problem has occurred on both machines.

Are they even fully charged to begin with? Your factory is using a bit over 6MW in total, your full daytime production is 7MW, so that likely isn't enough to fully charge them. Add more solar panels and see how it goes then.

You need 190 solar panels to fully charge 160 accumulators.

it takes multiple days for them to fully charge, but for the most part they handle it fine between the nights where they suddenly drop.

But I will expand my solar fields and see if the problem stops.

That sudden drop is the accumulators going empty. Given your ratio between panels and accumulators, I'm pretty sure everything is working fine.

AH! Figured it out. Apologies, was reading the graph wrong.

will build more solar fields. anyway to get this flagged as "I'm an idiot" so the devs don't get bothered with it?
