i have been playing factario for a while now and decide to play with a friend. i set up my saved game as a multiplayer game. when he went to connect download speeds where around 1kbps so switch from me hosting to him i was greeted with a server not responding. any multiplayer server i connect to gives me this error. i have tried windows firewall and port fowarding and turning off ipv6. please help me friends

Replies from the server arrive too late, this suggests network congestion or generally very high packet loss. Since it seems to happen with all servers you try to connect to the issue is on your end. First things to try would be to make speed test and ping the server you try to connect to.
