Extra train pathing penalty for other train/same station

I feel it would be a worthwhile enhancement if train pathing carried an extra penalty for pathing to a destination station that another train is already pathing to. Or maybe just another train with an identical schedule, I'm not sure which is better, you're the devs.

The problem this would solve is when multiple identically named stations become available, /all/ trains will path to it; only once it becomes disabled (due to the first train arriving, say) the others will reroute to other stations, that could be pretty far away.

There's a lot of train pathing stuff that happens under the hood. I think there's a mod that lets you see and adjust these hidden values to your own tastes but I haven't looked. Otherwise any typical issue with trains can be solved in game reasonably well.

If you aren't happy with the in game train brains there's some far more advanced train mods like Logistic Train Network. Give it a try.

In addition to being able to change the global penalties, I think it would be good if the player were able to add custom penalties for certain routes. I have already suggested this in this post.

The OP of that suggestion thread only suggested adding the ability to completely block certain routes, my counter-suggestion involves adding the ability to also add a pathinder penalty for certain routes.

In my post, I also pointed out that these penalties could be made dependant on circuit conditions and also provided a link to a suggestion thread in which it was proposed that trains themselves should be able to emit circuit signals.

I believe that this may be the best way to implement what you suggest.
