I have a map that's crashing factorio on load. It's done the auto-upload thing but not sure if it also uploaded all the other info. A save of the same world from 2 hours before works. I'm loathed to loose 2 hours of game play, but I don't know how to fix it myself as I can't see what's actually wrong.

Unfortunately, the game save in level.dat is binary, not compressed json, so I can't grep through it to work out what's gone wrong and edit it to work again The log is complaining about an errant signal and if it was json I could find that signal and nix it or one of its rail attachments and see if that got things going again.

Can you provide the working save too, please? It might help us to figure out how the save got corrupted.

base-in-a-box-32.zip crashes for me, you said you have also older one that works
