Hi,

Currently Factorio crashes when using a soundcard that does not use the windows speaker routing.

This would be soundcards used in music studio's, DJ'ing etc. as they use their own routing. In my case the Traktor Audio 2.

Fix would be to not use windows speaker settings, but directly communicate to the soundcard/driver. (I'm not an expert, but I had this bug fixed in Google Chrome before, and that is what they told me they did to fix it.)

Little fun fact: Besides chrome before, Fallout 4 is having the same problem. But Factorio and Fallout 4 are the only games out of my 150 games list in Steam I have troubles with

Auto tune in Autotorio (http://autotorio.com/)

Maybe the change of the engine in 0.17 will make this bug obsolete.

Please post a crash log.
We don't plan to replace the sound backed is it's the part that caused the fewest problems so far, with the only problem being the professional sound cards.
