Science pack1 and Science pack2 is quite boring names and commonly refereed to by there color.
They should be called red and green science pack or some other more fancy names in the game to.

Why? What would it change beside that we would have less information about which science pack is used to what.
Now at least we know that e.g. military science pack is used to develop weapons and it need weapons to be made. This is a pretty good name.

I like the names for Science Packs 1 and 2 because it shows the player a clear progression: you start at 1, and then with 2 you get more advanced research, and then at 3 it gets even better. Because those three use a linear progression, the names help covey that progression to new players.

Yeah, good luck getting the entirety of Europe to go along with that.

I'd kinda just want the high tech science pack renaming to science pack 4, or 5. though I can see why it isn't due to the hickup of production science pack and Military science pack being separate branches. however, a lot of research on the military side goes 1, 1+2, 1+2+M, 1+2+M+3, 1+2+M+3+HT rather than 1, 1+2, 1+2+3, 1+2+3+P, 1+2+3+P+HT as it does on the production side.

Also to mess you up even more I add a Logistics science pack, which just replaces the Production science pack on technology that is Logistic oriented, like Belts, Robots and Train stuff.
