E.g. you go to a chest with items and you cannot pick up more of this item than a predefined amount, that is editable via GUI by item*stacksize(0...X) by either everyone themselves or only admins to prevent unintended/intended item grief and as a quality of life improvement like the requested amount in bot delivery. So instead picking up 100 Splitters when I pickup a chests content it will give me a maximum amount of 25 when the setting says .5 stack limit. Which in this case is totally enough when I want to extend the base even 10 would do it early in the game.

This feature could be handy for mass multiplayer when a lot of players with different skill level play together, when combined with basic user group setting so the more settings you can define yourself.

If you open the chest you can still pickup as much as you want.
