1. Take any machine (e.g., assembling machine, electrolyser, chemical plant, etc.)
2. Set a recipe
3. Hover over the products (what it produces)

The popup window doesn't show the correct information about what the product the machine is producing, but what the recipe is. This is not only very confusing, but also a BIG problem when using Bob's mods or Angel's mods (and others). With those mods there are a lot of gasses and fluids of which I have no idea what they are. Hovering over the products would logically tell me what it actually is (e.g., hydrogen, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, etc.), but it doesn't.

This, combined with the fact there are no wiki's for mods and there is no in-game information about what recipe-chains are required to get specific products, is really annoying.

Modders not making any documentation at all for their byzantine mods is hardly a bug, is it?

In fact none of the above is a bug, it's all a mismatch between reality as imagined in your head and actual reality.

This is why mods like FNEI exist, and why there's a whole deal about recipe trees in the roadmap for 0.17. Just sayin'

When you hover over an icon, it should say what the icon means. That is the standard in every software application and game I know. It makes no sense that hovering over something giving you a tooltip that doesn't help you understand what it is. This is precisely why tooltips were invented in the first place!
