Idea for new item

Building 1 to 1 belt balancers is pretty easy, but when you are tight on space it would be nice to have a one tile item that you could placed over a belt to automatically balance it. Just a thought!

This has been suggested many times (this and other "one tile solution to belt puzzle"), and the answer is that it is highly unlikely it will make it to the game. The devs want that there be as few elementary "bricks" as possibleto build highly complex things. If there was to be "one lane balancers", why not 1 lane blockers, one lane mergers, ...
I'm sure you can mod it if you want, but this should not be in vanilla because ... well if you need more space, build bigger. Space is one part of the "cost" you have to pay for a function.
