TL;DR

As a non-admin multiplayer user, I want to change the name people see in chat, player lists, and above my character's head so that I can use different display names with different servers.

What ?

If that is how I change the name displayed in-game (such as on the mini-map, or the full map), then I want the text "You will be able to change your username only once." to be wrong. I'm OK with computers being able to correlate these display names (ie, there can be a "hidden name" server admins use, or an arbitrary (alpha)numerical id as the "primary key" for a player). But when people see my name in in-game chat (see below) or on the map/mini-map, it should be the name they normally associate with me.

Why ?

That image is from a twitch stream. The people on twitch do not know me by that name, they know me by a different name.

My friends do not know me by my twitch name, they know me (online) by the name in that screenshot.

Suffice it to say, the discrepancy in names gets confusing quickly, and I'd like to be able to use the right name in the right place.

The reasons why I'm using two different names online are my own, and I will not share them. The fact is, I am using two different names, and I want to show other players in Factorio the name they're expecting from me.
