Blueprint Icon Selection

Making blueprints often takes me some time, especially when I want to keep them for future projects and therefore care about naming and selecting icons for them.
What really annoys me is when I’ve got for example a beaconed assembling machine making green circuits, and the “automated icon selection” picks beacons.
In my opinion
1. The “automated icon selection” should take in account, what the assembling machines (or refineries, …) are producing
2. And it should be possible to select items by selecting them from the list of components (e. g. by clicking the mouse-wheel)
Please tell me what you think about it!
