Is there any way of placing a marker or anything that would be visible on an uncharted squares at a target "position"?

I tried the LuaCustomChartTag but only works on charted squares (still better than using train stops )

The game stores markers on the chart square itself so no it's not possible.

You can manualy request the chunk to be generated though.

hmmm thats too bad... and keeping them uncharted is crucial
