Just made an account. I dont know if this is the right place to put this.

Placing down a fast stack inserter then picking it back up magically upgrades the former fast stack inserter into an express stack inserter without any cost..

The item apparently comes from "Bob's Logistics mod > Bob's Adjustable Inserters > Bob's Logistics mod"

Im also playing with Angel's mod pack but I dont believe that will change anything.

Imagine my confusion when I saw express inserters in my toolbelt when the highest level of circuits I could build was basic electronic.

Did you start a new game with 0.16.35 or update an old map? What version of Bobs logistics and other mods?

Fast stack inserter being Red coloured, and Express stack inserter being Blue?

I did take a look at this the other day, and couldn't see the issue in code. I'll have to take another look at it.

I don't seem to be able to repeat this. I put down a fast filter inserter, then mine it again, and still have a fast filter inserter.

Looks like the migration thingy we "spoke" about recently.

If the mod is changed in an existing game, this behaviour can be seen.

I've been playing this mod since 0.16.2(something). About 3 or 4 weeks and I definitely updated Bob's mods during that time.

The bug is not gamebreaking, i purposefully destroy all express stack inserters gained in this way.

Hopefully nothing else strange shows up. I would hate to restart.

I think, as per design, if you have a migrated world the placed inserter will be of an old type, and when mined give you a new type. the new type might be a tier too high compared to what you'd expect?
