I am experiencing random lock ups while playing single or multiplayer. I have to task manager kill the process then I can start the application again and play. This occurs whether I am playing vanilla or using mods. I came across an old thread somewhere that said at one point this was happening due to the auto save function but it has since been patched. Is this still the case or is there a workaround somewhere for this? I have also reinstalled the game in a different location but the same issue persists. I couldn't find any threads here via the search function that covered something like this so I hope someone can help point me in the right direction.

Hi, can you post here factorio-current.log and factorio-previous.log, please? Hit Win+R on your keyboard, type %APPDATA%\Factorio and click OK, it should open File Explorer with folder containing the files.

Just in case the logs don't contain any information about the freeze, also please download Process Explorer https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint ... s-explorer
When Factorio freezes, find it in Process Explorer, right click it, select Create Dump -> Create Minidump. It will generate DMP file, please compress it by ZIP and upload it here too. Thanks.
