A prototype with the "hide-alt-info" flag will still show the alt info in the placement preview (item or blueprint).

Thanks for the report. That's working as intended: that's not "alt info" since it always shows for every entity regardless of alt-info being enabled.

Well, hrng. It's certainly not working as i intended when originally requesting the hide-alt flag. And it looks really bad with certain blueprints that contain lots of hidden entities. Any chance of hiding the arrows in preview too?
