0.16.21 - game won't start

Howdy,
First time poster here. I've never experienced any issues with the game, today I updated to 0.16.21 and I cannot load my old savegame. I also tried to start a new game and I also got a fatal error.
New game log: 0.16.20 savegame: Here's the savegame itself: I know I have a lot of mods, but I didn't encounter any issues with them in the previous version.
After I downgrade to 0.16.20 everything works as expected (both savegame and starting new game)
PS: This game is awesome, I'd like to hit my 900hour on steam this week
